Driving directions to Stag Leap Cabins
Directions from Hwy 7 (via Crockett)
Follow Hwy 7 from Crockett; cross over Hwy 69 (about 15 miles from Nacogdoches); go 7.9 miles.
Turn left onto FM 2782; go 2 miles and look for the Stag Leap sign on the right.
Directions from Dallas - Ft. Worth (Via Hwy 175)
Exit I-20 onto Hwy 175 to Kaufman, Athens, Frankston, and Jacksonville.
Turn right onto Hwy 69; stay on Hwy 69 through Jacksonville, Rusk, Alto, Wells.
Exit left onto Hwy 7; go 7.9 miles.
Turn left onto FM 2782; go 2 miles and look for the Stag Leap sign on the right.
Directions from Dallas - Ft. Worth (via Tyler)
Take I-20 to the Tyler exit for Hwy 69. Go to loop 323 – turn right on loop 323 and go south to Hwy 69.
Turn right and go through Bullard, Jacksonville, Rusk, Alto, and Wells.
Turn left onto Hwy 7; go 7.9 miles.
Turn left onto FM 2782; go 2 miles and look for the Stag Leap sign on the right.
Directions from Houston (via Hwy 59)
Follow I-69/Hwy 59 through or around Humble, Cleveland, Livingston, Corrigan, Diboll, Lufkin, and north toward Nacogdoches.
Cross over the Angelina River Bridge; go 2.5 miles.
Turn left onto FM 2782 (at the big red antiques auction barn); go 5 miles and cross over Hwy 7. Go straight for 2 more miles and look for the Stag Leap sign on the right.
From Hwy 259 (via Henderson)
From Hwy 259, exit right onto Loop 224 to go south; go approximately 7-8 miles, past Hwy 21 and Hwy 225.
Exit right onto Hwy 7 (outside the loop); go exactly 7 miles.
Turn right onto FM 2782; go 2 miles and look for the Stag Leap sign on the right.
From Downtown Nacogdoches or SFASU
Follow Hwy 59 southward over an overpass, past Brookshire Brothers grocery; go another 1.5 blocks and turn right on Fredonia St. (it becomes Hwy 7 outside the loop).
Once you go under the overpass towards the A. L. Mangham Jr. Regional Airport, follow Hwy 7 for 6.9 miles to FM 2782.
Turn right onto FM 2782; go 2 miles and look for the Stag Leap sign on the right.
